Spellwood - Word Game Adventure

Spellwood - Word Game AdventureSpellwood’s twist on the Scrabble formula sees tiles remaining on the board for only a turn or two at a time, offering more opportunity to use freed-up letter and word boosts – but less chance for long-term strategy and elaborate wordplay. Completed words send an attack to your opponent in both the single-player mode and asynchronous multiplayer matches, but despite the inclusion of power-ups and items that affect attack and defense, Sega’s buggy and crash-prone app has fewer hooks than its notable competitors. The solo quest lacks punch and hides half of its content behind a paywall, while online multiplayer battles only allow Game Center or Facebook friends (no random foes), which severely limits the best part of the game.
