“A gravity-defying platformer that's as smart as it is good-looking.”

Initially, Inertia: Escape Velocity seems about as exciting as bread garnished with pages from your school textbooks. You can move forward and jump. That’s it. But then the game teaches you how to – at the press of a button – disable gravity, and it reveals its true colours. In short, removing gravity from the equation causes your tiny moon man to continue in the direction you were piloting him without coming back down. Simple, right? Hardly. The game stretches its formula in all sorts of brain-bending, physics-defying directions, resulting in a fast-yet-fair difficulty curve with brilliantly put-together puzzles. Its trial-and-error-based nature can frustrate occasionally, but this one’s definitely worth your time.
