“Oink's certainly got a unique look and feel, but the app and services' relative complexity is perhaps a little too high.”

Oink

OinkOink is billed as “an easy way to rate and rank the things around you”. Like Stamped (reviewed above), it’s a social network that encourages you to post things you like or dislike, to share them with your followers. The service encourages you to choose things you want to build ‘cred’ for, the idea being that you can become a recommended person on a particular topic. Unfortunately, the service and the app itself are just a little too busy for our liking. Oink seems to be trying to do too much. While the idea of building a reputation for certain topics may provide some gratification, it feels too intimidating for the average user.

The service is still in its infancy, with the main aim of current users being to help populate the service. As such it seems too early for most people to get any use out of it.
