  • Good looking as Bladeslinger Ep. 1 might be, it’s a hollow and oft-miserable slog. Hit the saloon, instead.

  • A clear labour of love, with the high level of care elevating it above most other retro compilations on the iPad.

  • A Walking Dead game in the spirit of the TV series? No, but an enjoyable slice of real-time strategy, nonetheless.

  • Better than its predecessor in every way, but the huge leaps in visuals and variety aren’t matched by much progression in how it plays.

  • Far too difficult at times, but also far too charming, entertaining and original for that to matter too much.
