Games

  • The best top-down racer out there on iOS, but it’s still a few fractions of a second short of the perfect lap.

  • There’s little longevity here for adults, but Fleece Lightning offers tons of fun for tiny touchscreen fiends.

  • Potentially fantastic, but undone by its overly demanding nature. Still worth a look if you’re headstrong; if not, steer clear.

  • Retro racing with its pedal stuck fast to the metal, and more to it than rose-tinted OutRun nostalgia.

  • With simplistic mechanics and structure to match its presentation, Retro Racing amuses, but offers little variety or lasting appeal.

  • It’s no longer particularly reckless, but the racing bit is still very good. We just wish the game retained the charm and character of the original.

  • A gratuitous and silly take on the pursuit genre. Nearly earns a commendation, but bugs and brevity leave it frustratingly short of greatness.

  • An enjoyable and lively racing game which we – Argh! Can’t resist! – were over the moon about! (Sorry.)
