Games

  • Not what we expected, and it might well nonplus brawler fans, but this is an elegant, charming game that feels very much at home on iOS.

  • Engaging, colourful puzzling that requires lateral thinking – we only wish it came in a serving larger than a canapé.

  • Having simple puzzles with dextrously tricky solutions falls between two audiences – but think of it as Cat Golf and it nearly works.

  • Tasty morsels of labyrinth-based puzzling, but some unpredictable enemy movement means sometimes solutions are a case of trial and error.

  • BoxPlots takes an overdone format and adds charm, character and a smidge of originality, resulting in a very pleasant puzzler.

  • Not really a ‘game’ in the typical sense, but lacking an expansive enough toolset to make your godlike role satisfying in itself.

  • This world’s charming enough to warrant some exploration, but it’s soon familiar terrain – and that’s enough to dampen Kumo Lumo’s appeal somewhat.

  • It won’t amuse you for great stretches at a time, but this is great for dipping in and out of.
