  • Tense, captivating but short, unless you’re prepared to grind for increasingly powerful weapons. Definitely worth an hour of your time, though.

  • A clear labour of love, with the high level of care elevating it above most other retro compilations on the iPad.

  • Better than its predecessor in every way, but the huge leaps in visuals and variety aren’t matched by much progression in how it plays.

  • Far too difficult at times, but also far too charming, entertaining and original for that to matter too much.

  • Two sets of great-looking levels and a couple of more dubious ones aren’t enough to save this game from itself.

  • An Inca-redibly fun multiplayer experience, though you Maya not find the single-player game as engrossing.

  • Fun for fans of Angry Birds and Star Wars alike, but the few new gimmicks mean The Force is merely strong(ish) in this one.
