Games

  • A solid premise built upon with some promising moments of puzzling, but with enough oversights to keep this from being great.

  • Great art and some genuinely inventive ideas aren’t enough to counter the horrible controls that mire this game in mediocrity.

  • A challenging, hazardously compulsive test of catering strategy with enough variables to keep it from getting repetitive.

  • Engaging, colourful puzzling that requires lateral thinking – we only wish it came in a serving larger than a canapé.

  • Zelda/Rogue fans will delight in this 8-bit dungeon puzzler, but it’s not for everyone.

  • The gameplay’s relatively solid, but there’s not enough originality here to grab your attention along with the titular beasties.

  • An honest, shoot-’til-you-toot space nugget of a concept – eye-pleasing, simple to grasp and tense without being frantic.

  • Replaces the elegance and beauty of Tiny Wings with eighties noise and garishness, but it’s exhilarating nonetheless — if a tad short-lived.
